Prince Albert II Foundation Green Revolving Fund

The mission of the PA2F Green Revolving Fund is to support Amherst College in achieving significant greenhouse gas reductions by providing a regenerative funding source that engages and empowers the campus community to implement innovative energy conservation measures.

Specific goals include:

  • -Funding projects that reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions in the college’s operations and facilities
  • -Growing the GRF over time through reinvestment of money saved by reducing energy demand and operating costs
  • -Supporting the larger goal of carbon neutrality under the Climate Action Plan through innovative application of renewable energy, student-led innovative climate solution research and community engagement
  • -Enriching the overall educational experience by utilizing campus operations as a living lab for student research and discovery

The PA2F Green Revolving Fund will be overseen by a committee of student, faculty, staff, and alumni.
