Grady Health System Green Revolving Fund

Grady Health System has established a $1.7 million Green Revolving Fund (GRF), creating a regenerating funding structure for sustainability projects. The GRF will significantly advance Grady’s system-wide commitment to ongoing investments in energy efficiency, water conservation or renewable energy. Through a recent energy assessment and facilities audit, Grady has identified high-impact projects that can be implemented to reduce utility costs. The savings from these projects will be measured and redirected toward future sustainability projects as well as direct patient care.

Grady has formed a multi-stakeholder working group to lead the process of establishing the GRF guidelines and operating procedures. This group is comprised of Grady executive leadership from many departments, including finance, facilities and the Grady Health Foundation. Grady is committed to identifying and investing in projects that reduce energy costs and environmental impact while taking a more sustainable approach to its facilities.
